The Everything Amazing stamp set is great for quick and simple cards. This version would work well for a graduation, new job or celebrating any accomplishment. Life is full of milestones, challenges and new adventures no matter what phase of life we are in and we all need people cheering us on. Use this stamp set to make a perfect card for those occasions.
The photopolymer stamp makes it easy to line up your images and to mix and match colors. Mango Melody and Blueberry Bushel were used on this card and these are some of my go to colors for masculine cards.
This set also includes several background images. Here I used the starts to create a a background. As the sentiment panel is so large you can skip stamping into the middle of the card. To get a more random look to your background make sure to rotate your stamp and also stamp off of the edge of the paper at times. This will give you a look that is more similar to a piece of designer series paper.
I thought the square panel and matting piece were just a little to structured for this card so I rounded two of the corners using the detailed trio punch to soften the look. I think it was a good compromise with the flowing script of the sentiment in the Everything Amazing stamp set.
Project Recipe:
- Create card base from 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Mango Melody card stock scored at 4 1/4″
- Stamp sentiment on 3″ x 4″ piece of whisper white card stock using Mango Melody and Blueberry BushelRound two corners with the detailed trio punch.
- Round two corners of a 3 1/4″ by 4 1/4″ piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock and mat the sentiment.
- Using Blueberry Bushel ink stamp with the star stamp from the set around the outside edges. Rotate the stamp and stamp off the edge of the card to create a more random look to the card base. You do not need to stamp the center as this will be covered by the sentiment panel.Use the same stamp and ink to stamp the corners of the 4″ x 5 1/4″ whisper white panel for the inside of the card. Adhere the whisper white panel to the inside.
- Add three strips of Blueberry Bushel ribbon about two thirds of the way down the card front.Using dimensional strips, adhere matted sentiment to the front panel.
