Cup of Comfort Christmas Card

Cup of Comfort Christmas Card

This Cup of Comfort Christmas Card uses several of the great products from the new Holiday Catalog. Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper has beautiful glitter accents in the design to give it a special sparkle. I pulled the color combination from the paper. I love that Stampin’ Up! gives us the colors used and make it easy to coordinate products from paper to card stock to ink. These were colors I don’t think I would have put together but they go together so well.

The Coastal Cabana card front is embossed with the Stylish Scroll embossing folder. This folder actually comes from the Halloween section of the catalog but will be a wonderful background for many designs. I also utilized the Mercury Glass Acetate behind the mug. It gives a great wintery feel to the card.

The Cup of Comfort Stamp Set comes with a unique feature. The mugs are reversible! This means you can stamp the mug shaping either direction. The coordinating Cup of Cheer Dies also come with mug dies with the handles on either side. The overlays for the mugs in the dies are great for adding more dimension to your card.

The Shimmery White Embossing Powder was fun to play with and the sparkle is just beautiful! This is a product you will want to add to your stash for that special touch to so many cards.

A video tutorial is posted below showing how this card goes together.

Michele

I grew up in the big city but moved to beautiful Helena, MT back in 1993 where I fell in love with Big Sky Country. I have two amazing adult children for whom I thank God daily. During the day I am blessed to work at a local Christian School. On my off-time I enjoy all things stamping and paper crafting! You can always tell when I've been creating...inky fingers are happy fingers!

My journey to sharing my projects online began when I needed to raise extra funds for a missions trip and a friend encouraged me to teach a card class. I found out I loved teaching and sharing my passion with others. Blogging, YouTube and other social media allows me to share inspiration outside my local community. It is so great to connect with people from all over the world with our common love of paper crafting!

You can find inspiration and tutorials here on my blog and my YouTube channel. I hope you'll get out your paper, stamp and ink and create with me!
