I made this encouragement card using Above the Clouds set from Stampin’ Up!. There are some great sayings in this set for encouraging or uplifting others. The punch not only punches the hot air balloon but also the basket and the triangular pieces for the banner. Punches can make it quick and easy to create cards in bulk. You can layer your colors as I did on this card or you can stamp the outlines directly onto colored card stock. This set also is great for coloring. Break out your Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Write Markers or Watercolor Pencils and have some fun. Imagine each of those panels in a different color. How fun!
I wanted to bring in all of the new 2019-2020 In-Colors for this card. Between the card stock, inks and ribbon I managed to get all five colors represented. They coordinate so beautifully.
Using the Stitched Shapes Dies gives the beautiful detail to the focal image and sentiment piece. Taking them off the edge and trimming adds interest to the card. I hope you enjoyed this card.
