Project Recipe:
- Cut the following:Base in Whisper White Thick cut to 4 1/4″ by 11″ scored at 5 1/2″Matting layer is Bermuda Bay 4 1/8″ by 5 3/8″DSP piece is 4″ by 5 1/4″Strip of Bermuda Bay measuring 1 1/4″ by 4″Scrap piece of Bermuda Bay approx. 3″ x 3″Scrap of Whisper White approx. 3″ x 3″
- Stamp sentiment using Bermuda Bay ink on whisper white scrapPunch using 2″ circle punchPunch Bermuda Bay scrap on starburst punchMat the sentiment circle on the Bermuda Bay circle.
- Cut scrap of burlap trim approx 4″ wide. Pull the ends apart slightly to get a frayed look.
- There are very fine borders on this card so you will want to use the liquid adhesive to allow you to shift and get precise placement.Mount the DSP piece onto the Bermuda Bay mat.Mount panel onto card front.Mat the Bermuda Bay strip leaving about 1″ of DSP showing on the bottom of the card.Place burlap trim down using a piece of tear and tape. You will only need a piece about 2″ long in the center.Trim the burlap piece down as needed.Use dimensionals to place sentiment piece over the trim. Make sure you leave an open space down the middle horizontally when placing dimensionals for the trim.
- This is a great masculine birthday card. Play with switching up the colors of the matting layer and ink for different looks.
