Just Bee-Cause Collage Card

July 5, 2020 By Catherine Carroll

5 Jul

I’d like to introduce you to Kat Scrappiness. You can find her website here: https://bit.ly/2BueULc If you have not visited, you’re missing out on some fun paper crafting items. I created this adorable card quickly and simply by using one of her dies. This collage frame is especially useful for breaking down many small images into individual frames. Here I used the Sunny Studio stamp set Just Bee-Cause to fill in the frames. You’ll be seeing many more cards in the future using this collage. I have lots of ideas already!

I used my Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers to color and added some Wink of Stella https://bit.ly/3ixApfm to the wings for a little extra shimmer. I added some die cut bees on top of stamped ones for a little extra dimension on the card while still keeping it fairly flat. Don’t these cute little bees just make you smile?

For details on the project and how I saved my card mistake check out the video tutorial below.

To see the rest of the fun items I purchased from Kat Scrappiness see my haul video below. You will be seeing more of these items in upcoming video tutorials.

I grew up in the big city but moved to beautiful Helena, MT back in 1993 where I fell in love with Big Sky Country. I have two amazing adult children for whom I thank God daily. During the day I am blessed to work at a local Christian School. On my off-time I enjoy all things stamping and paper crafting! You can always tell when I've been creating...inky fingers are happy fingers!

My journey to sharing my projects online began when I needed to raise extra funds for a missions trip and a friend encouraged me to teach a card class. I found out I loved teaching and sharing my passion with others. Blogging, YouTube and other social media allows me to share inspiration outside my local community. It is so great to connect with people from all over the world with our common love of paper crafting!

You can find inspiration and tutorials here on my blog and my YouTube channel. I hope you'll get out your paper, stamp and ink and create with me!
