Simple Post-It Note Holder
Simple Post-It Note Holder

This simple Post-It Note holder is always a hit at my craft fairs. Who doesn’t love some post-it note, right? In the video tutorial I give tips on mass producing these to make it even quicker. You can leave the front plain or add a sentiment. Which one is your favorite from the samples above?

You will need 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock for the base. Score on the 8 1/2″ side at 2 7/8″, 3 3/8″, 6 1/2″ and 7″. Scoring before cutting saves you time. Cut strips to 3 1/8″ x 8 1/2″. You will get three strips out of each piece of cardstock. Combining 4 sheets of cardstock and 1 sheet of 12×12 patterned paper you could make 12 of these holders with very little excess paper.

Patterned paper is cut to 2 7/8″ strips. For each holder cut one piece at 2 7/8″ x 1 1/4″ and one at 2 7/8″ x 2 5/8″. From one strip cut out of 12×12 patterned paper you can get enough pieces for three holders.

I grew up in the big city but moved to beautiful Helena, MT back in 1993 where I fell in love with Big Sky Country. I have two amazing adult children for whom I thank God daily. During the day I am blessed to work at a local Christian School. On my off-time I enjoy all things stamping and paper crafting! You can always tell when I've been creating...inky fingers are happy fingers!

My journey to sharing my projects online began when I needed to raise extra funds for a missions trip and a friend encouraged me to teach a card class. I found out I loved teaching and sharing my passion with others. Blogging, YouTube and other social media allows me to share inspiration outside my local community. It is so great to connect with people from all over the world with our common love of paper crafting!

You can find inspiration and tutorials here on my blog and my YouTube channel. I hope you'll get out your paper, stamp and ink and create with me!
